Zion’s Cave Valley

Zion National Park’s Cave Valley is located in the Kolob Terrace section of the park and straddles private property. Actually, about 16 acres of the images you’ll see here are for sale! Great place to build a new home. The views!  The caves here contain Native American Indian pictographs and petroglyphs but are difficult to find.

Beautiful landscapes, Michael. Zion is a special place. I love the image with the sagebrush leading the way.

Stunning photos! Last night I watched PBS Nature and the topic was sagebrush prairie – I learned so much about the habitat I see in your photos. You probably know all about it, but it is available for streaming online if you are interested. 🙂

Thanks Eliza. I’ll have to watch that PBS episode online. I watch a lot of good programs on PBS

What a beautiful location for a home. I have wellness centers to create but don’t think 16 acres would be enough…too bad there aren’t more!! Beautiful photos!

Thanks Katelon. I think Zion NP should purchase that land and other parcels around the park

yes, that would probably be better.

You’ve don an excellent job of capturing the feel of that area of the park. Did you find the caves? Any photos?

Thanks Mark. I didn’t find the caves, I’ll probably check them out next time I’m in that area.
