Wahweap Hoodoos, A Prehistoric Landscape To Say The Least

Up on Wahweap Creek in Southern Utah are the Wahweap Hoodoos.  They must’ve filmed that scene in 2001, A Space Odyssey here with the ape going bonkers over that monolith suddenly appearing.  I didn’t go ape but I felt like I was in prehistoric times.  A brontosaurus was probably just around the corner.

Oh this is incredible. Is it free of access or do you need a permit ?

It is free to access. It’s about a 3 1/2 mile hike up the creek bed.
