A Trek Up To Zion’s Colorful Echo Canyon

The other day I was in Zion National Park, scouting out locations where the fall colors may be beginning. There were hints that fall foliage was about to burst but not this day. Echo Canyon is a steep climb about 1,500 feet above the Zion Canyon  floor and it was possible fall colors would appear there. I made the trek and was I thrilled that I did. Echo Canyon was aflame in color! There was still some green so the peak may not be for another week but Echo Canyon is spectacular in any season and the brilliant hues and pastels made it extraordinary. These images and more are available as prints including Gallery Canvas prints at Dawn2Dawn Photography

I’m headed over to Moab, Utah this week and the incredible Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.

Such beautiful images of the Zion’s , I wish to be there right now , inhaling all the smells of fall and sitting on one the rocks and just let go of everything. That’s what you images transfer to me. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for following our blog. Your photo’s bring back wonderful memories. We were in Utah at this time last year and visited Zion and Bryce Canyons. You’re fortunate to live in such a spectacular location.

Never having been to Zion, your beautiful images are an absolute delight! I feel as if I’ve been. Such gorgeous fall colors, such majestic and awe-inspiring scenery. Loved seeing people in a few of the photos so that I could appreciate the scale. Thanks for the fantastic trip 🙂
