Images in from the cold. Winters past.

Many of you just endured a pretty harsh winter. It was way too cold to go outside. But, if you have a sense of adventure, a good down vest, winter boots, lots of fresh batteries, photographing winter can produce some memorable images.

It was 15 below zero (F) when I took this shot in Yellowstone. Looks like these coyotes could use another coat.

    I was out shooting a few months ago and didn’t realize it was 41 degrees below zero here in Indiana. In Alaska several years ago, a group of us camped out when it was 61 degrees below……SISSY !! Alyn McConnaha alyn1477@mymetronet.net

      I can’t imagine camping in minus 61. Hopefully it wasn’t windy. I notice when out in minus temps, you need to carry spare batteries and store them in something down.
